Back from the Carribean!

What an experience! Although it was a bit chilly, but we are not complaining,we had a wonderful time on the Bell Buckle Music Cruise. We made many new friends and are proud to say many new fans of our music! Pictures are circulating faster than the speed of light all over facebook and will be posted here soon.
We had the pleasure of meeting and now have the support of Grand Ole Opry legend Charlie Louvin. An incredible living legend who at 82 years of age is still an an inspiration.
We were also asked to play again next year and after we took some time to think about it ( 30 seconds) we agreed!
So if you were thinking about it before, DO IT!!! Please refer to the information on our site and ask any questions you may have!
Make sure to tell them Hard Ryde sent you!

Another successful award show for the band! We took home... Guitar Player, Banjo Player, Mandolin Player and Fiddle Player of the Year ! Entertainer of the Year ! and Recording of the Year! Rich only lost by 2 votes and Melissa lost by only 4 votes! No complaints!
Thanks to everyone who voted for hard Ryde!
We were also entered into the Hall of Fame for Vocal group of the Year.. time for a new name! How about Ryde Hard??

What a great festival! We had a blast! Beautiful weather and awesome jamming. Thanks go out to all the festival staff that were so kind and caring when Will had some sunstroke issues!!! A Big thanks to our friend Danny Paisley who joined Hard Ryde as tenor vocalist while Will was being attended too by the paramedics!!! We met so many wonderful people and appreciate all thier compliments. A must attend event for anyone !! We can't wait to come back!

Well its confirmed, we have added our T-shirt boy to the band-line-up ! After months of following us around, showing up unannounced at Band practices and confirmed homeless, Marc Roy is now an official band member. His sales weren�t that hot on the CD/Tshirt table anyway!

March 7, 2008 We are proud to finally show your our new website. We have an incredible, talented webmaster who has been a pleasure to work with. Right off the bat I give all the kudos to Michael Shean! If anyone out there requires such talent please email him. He's very reasonable!
The guys are hard at work in the studio working on the next Hard Ryde Project "Stages". Another great project containing original tunes and some familiar old trads (Hard Ryde style of course!). We are again recording at Heritage Sound Studios in Burlington, Ontario. Steve Ashely is yet another amazingly talented friend of ours and once again if you are considering recording, he's the man!
We have a full year coming up and are really looking forward to seeing all of you at any given stop along the way.
Before you leave, make sure you visit our cruise page. Now this is exciting! Will has already bought the worlds ugliest Hawaiian shirt and I think he's sleeping in it!
We are truly looking forward to cruising with BellBuckle and all of the talented musicians and fans that plan to be aboard! Please consider this, it will be incredible!

So much to tell ya'all !! We are proud to announce 2 new players who have joined "The Ryde" !!! Welcome to D'arcy Campbell on Banjo and Tyler Beckett on Fiddle! The guys have been hard at work in the Studio working on a new CD due to be released in the Spring. Great new originals and a few old Trads will make this an incredible project!
We also are inviting you to pack your bags and head out to the Western Carribean in Jan uary 2009 with us! MOre information will be posted soon!!

We are proud to have won all 7 of our nominations at the Central Canadian Bluegrass Music Awards in Nov. 2009. Congrats to Melissa also for winning Composer of the Year! We just returned from a 10 day Florida/Caribbean tour! Florida was amazing and the response to our music was incredible. We have met sooo many new friends from all over the US and Canada.Florida is just a melting pot for Bluegrass Pickers! We had a blast with Valerie Smith on the Bell Buckle Music Cruise, we have been asked to cruise again in 2011! We will be leaving on Jan.31 from Miami and heading to 4 Ports including the Virgin Islands, Grand Turk, Puerto Rico and Nassau! You MUST join us!
2010 will be an exciting year for us, watch for our new CD for a hopeful release in July 2010! We are gearing up for another great year ahead!
